Am I My Own Grandpa?

Josh Renfro married John Anna Brown.  Who are they to us?  

I cannot get over his overalls with his nice jacket!  They are adorable.

Their daughter is Margaret Elizabeth Renfro Henry Thornsbury.  Great Grandma – Zola’s mother.

This picture is Zola with her Grandma and Grandpa Renfro.  My understanding is this was when she went to tell them goodbye as she and Lester were getting ready to move to the Pacific Northwest.  That blonde baby . . . . in her arms?  That's Bob; I'm guessing this was taken around 1941 - 1942.

Josh Renfro’s mother Drucilla Jane Barnes married three times.

First to Josh’s father, Joshua Benjamin Renfro.  You might remember, Joshua was killed by lightening during the civil war.

Second, Drucilla married a Isaiah Moore and I only have his name, nothing else. 

Third she married William W. Manuel.  William was first married to Mary Emeline Brown.  Who is Mary Emeline Brown?  She is John Anna Browns sister.  

Wait what?  John Anna was Josh’s step-father’s former sister-in-law.  No blood relations there, we’re safe.  

Mary Emeline Brown would be our great great Aunt.  Great Grandma Thornsbury's aunt.
