Who are they to us? Francis Marion Renfroe "Bud" is Zola's Uncle. Great-grandma Thornsbury's brother.
Francis Marion Renfroe, son of Joshua and John Anna Brown Renfroe, married Clara Rash July 7, 1908. Clara and "Bud" Renfroe lived northern Pope County, Arkansas.
Bud moved his family from Arkansas to Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma in the 1920's. One day in 1927 Bud went to the bank to borrow money to make a crop. He walked home down the railroad track when someone shot him in the back of the head and stole his crop money. His wife Clara was left alone to raise their children.
